A company doesnt sell over 2 million games every iteration by changing "alot".Look at Madden for that fact.

Its tech is not that advanced so why would you want the wii to play dvds?you would only get at max progressive scan 480p.So why does everyone want this so much?you can go get a upscaling dvd player for less then $50 bucks where i live.
Your kinda not making sense......you think the wii lacks tech yet you would like it to have the worst dvd player on the market(progressive scan is the worst right now in terms of resolution) so it would replace your dvd player...

Actually you cant mod your car .......it voids the warranty.Meaning no more support from the maker who made the car.Although you can mod a car without punishment beyond the warranty because after the purchase thats the only thing a car company has control of.
Sorry but most dvd players sold in stores at this time are not interlaced anymore and start with progressive scan.(atleast in my area)
and secondly calm down you must not have understood me when i pointed out that you say the wii is last tech yet you want a standard non-upscaled dvd player in it......and btw your tv must suck if you cant tell a difference from native and upscaled.Talk about last gen.
