Yeah I had a SEGA CD as well, I never really cared for Sewer Shark, but I had a couple of light gun games for it. Lethal Enforcers 1&2 and some crazy voodoo zombie killing game that was pretty cool. I also had Night Trap and another cool game called Shadow Dragon(?) That was like playing a graphic novel.
Edit: Rise of the Dragon was the game
Still better than the Microsoft brand "Block of Wood with a Dick on it"...
My guess is the bomb landed in the water or close to the shore and flooded the mainland, maybe thats why it looks like there are a bunch of islands. It would also explain why many of the buildings are more or less intact.
Today I just preordered and payed in full for my copy on PS4. I haven't preordered any game since the PS1 days...I'm taking no chances on this one.
I'm glad to see there are games coming out that involve controlling animals and other creatures again.
Back in the day there used to be a decent amount of games where humans weren't always the player character. Games like Spider, Mr. Mosquito, Dog's Life etc...always thought they were unique and interesting and I'm happy to see we are starting to get some more titles like that.
I think Unreal tournament on PS3 (and 360?) had mod support. It was a pretty early release last gen and might have been somewhat limited but it still had some form of mods.
Edit: forgot to hit add comment and you beat me to it, damn multi tabs!
I still have mine (got it in 1988) along with about 50+ games, game genie, light gun and arcade stick. I still occasionally buy games for it even though it no longer works, I've been meaning to get it fixed I just haven't got around to it yet.
Agreed, if you haven't looked it up yet (or just forgot about it) check it out, each stage you would have to collect one of Freddy's bones to toss into the furnace at the last level.
The player characters had a sleep meter that would tick down over time or if you stood still or take damage. Drinking cups of coffee would give you more time. When the meter filled (or drained?) You would slip into a dream world where you had super powers and Freddy would show up ever so...
There was a really cool Nightmare on Elm Street game on NES based on the Dream Warriors movie. I always liked it, it played like a crazy version of Castlevannia, though I don't think it got very good reviews. It was better than the NES Friday the 13th game though...
This looks like a crazier, more robust version of the Timesplitters map editor. My friends and I would make some really terrible (but super fun) maps on that and have a blast for hours so I'm definitely interested in this.
Yeah ever since I started playing Terraria I haven't gone back to Minecraft. I still like Minecraft but the amount of content in Terraria is insane, there is just so much more to do and collect especially now that the massive 1.3 update just came out.
Oh man! Wizards & Warriors, I loved those games back in the day. I still have my copies of I, II and III. They were so damn hard too, especially back then without online guides and what not.
I'm fairly certain they force feed her cocaine then shove her out on stage.
I don't know if it's my favorite moment but it is certainly something that has always stuck with me.
When you are wandering the Wasteland and come across the mysterious radio signal (that is running on a loop), the one with the father asking if anybody can hear this broadcast to please help him and his family.
I hear it and think "Oh man, if I can find them and help I might get some kind of reward!" I search for what felt like forever until I finally...
I'm going to name one Planet Slurms, wimmy wam wam wazzle!
There were quite a few of them on Gameboy, I used to have them all even though most of them were basically the same. My Gameboys (I had 4 or 5 different ones at one point) along with about 65 games were stolen from me by a roommate years ago unfortunately.
That's exactly why I clicked on this article: Wrestlefest! I used to play the living hell out of that game in the arcade, 50 cents to play the entire Royal Rumble or try to win one of the titles, fantastic game and ahead of it's time in a lot of ways.
This reminds me of the episode of Futurama where Fry asks the What If Machine "What if videogames were real?". Although I don't really care much for Adam Sandler I might watch this.
Yeah Spawn is getting a new animated series similar to the HBO one from a while back, though I guess this new series isn't a continuation of the HBO show.
I for one love Spawn and would be glad to see him in Mortal Kombat X, I never really got into DC or Marvel much but I loved Image Comics for being more maturely written and for the insane amount of detail put into the artwork.
Man I wish this could take cartridges too, I have about 65 of them still. My original NES won't play them anymore, I need to fix/get a new 72 pin connector for it. I'll probably still end up buying this though as its cheaper than I expected it to be.
