Except that Splatoon is a very complete package with single player mode and multiplayer mode. Every contents that came post-release are free and there isn’t a single IAP/microtransactions in sight. Comparing SoT to Splatoon makes no sense at all.
On the other hand, it’d be better to compare this to games like No Man’s Sky and PUBG.
Awesome game and a very great addition to the Switch’s library.
I love both the Xbox and the PS4 (although I don’t own an Xbox One) and I hope both can co-exist for a long time. But you are right, articles like these are silly.
You bet it will. There is nothing stopping the Switch over there.
Alot of multiplayer games are actually doing this to be honest, especially on mobile. I remember playing Mobile Legend and always got the win and top kill for the first 10 matches or so.
It made me feel invincible, but as soon as the bots went away and the game matches me up with real players, I started to lose quite alot.
Part one was great. If you had never been a big fan of cRPG games like Baldur’s Gate, then I don’t think you would find PoE to be a good or interesting game.
“horrible UI, terrible item system, horrible character models to myself also?”
The game was designed that way, to be just like that, especially regarding to character model. It was designed to be a throwback to the past cRPG games. If you want cRPG games with great graphic and more modern gameplay, ...
By now I don’t know why people pay any attention to Lime. He is a known troll and replying to him is just useless.
@Jaguar
No one argues that the PS4 sold more worldwide, but isn’t this article about Media Crate Sale, aka sales in Japan?
“Kumakai, ya you purchased PS3 games and nothing is stopping you from playing them on your PS3.”
What if he had traded his ps3 for the ps4, just like me? I know that BC is not a system seller, far from it, but it would still be very nice to have it. Just have one console under your tv that can play games across generations.
The gameplay is very awesome. As a fan of the series, this game is quickly becoming one of my favorite games this year.
Fair point. But with these anime-based games (the Naruto series come to mind), the story and cutscenes are usually accelerated in favor of gameplay. Thus, if you are a new comer I doubt you can get the full story like what the original anime has to offer.
The gameplay still is awesome though.
So instead of replaying old games that you already own and paid for, you are happy to pay again for the same games for the remaster/remake version?
“everything gets remade every year but no, they want their unaltered BS from years ago”
By that logic, why buy the new God of War now? Why buy RDR2 now? When all of them will be remade when the PS5/Xbox 2 are released? If anything you should stop posting all these nonsense.
Great news for those who own Xbox One.
I mean anime*
I am all glad for this, but isn’t it coming abit too late? If you really realized that lootbox/microtransactions fked up the game you shouldn’t have put it into the game in the first place.
Uh no. The game is confusing for newcomers and does a very bad job at conveying some of the more emotional scenes in the manga.
I do agree, I think more contents will drop soon.
Anyway it seem that the people who are always being negative on this are the ones who always scream “xbox haz no gamez!!!111”.
How are they “holding the industry back“ exactly? I thought the “industry” consists of many other gaming devs/pubs and not just Nintendo?
Battle Royale is the new zombie. Pretty soon it will be saturated.
