ahahahah... you're WAY over stepping the mark... Tomb Raider HASN'T been a cultural icon in YEARS! she's only a cultural icon because shes one of the original recognisable characters but her shine has dulled A LOT, she's like a still relevent version of Sonic... but by no means still this modern day champion of the people like Nate is! Tomb Raider has A LOT to be thankful for Uncharted for!
Tomb raider has NOT gone strength to strength and hasnt been a domi...
i smell MAJORRRRRR bullshit!!! i ONLY play Operations on Battlefield 1.. and Yes i am a PS4 player and i've NEVER had any problems with operations lool.. the only time ive ever had connection issues is when the servers themselves were down! and i've clocked in over 100 hours in BF1 so yeah MAJOR BS coming from you right now.
Ok let me explain.... NO ONE with a rational mind can say that Activision hasnt taken steps to try appease its fans and bring out an actual good game, but the problem ISN'T that it's a bad game its the fact its MORE OF THE SAME EVERY YEAR! It's simple series fatigue.. i dont understand how people can say it about Assassin's Creed but COMPLETELY ignore it about the CoD series! and in my personal opinion the CoD series needs a year/2 year gap WAY m...
i respect the authors opinion but i sincerely and wholeheartedly disagree! Battlefield 1 hits the human element PERFECTLY! The only criticism i have of the campaign is i wish it was longer because i LITERALLY want more war stories!
the mobile market and the AAA console market are 2 COMPLETE different markets... they you take into consideraiton that the Switch is gonna be around £300 (most likely RRP) and you alienate the handheld gamers with a high price and you put off the 'core gamer' with handheld type games! It's REALLY not as simple as putting 3ds 'type' games on the Switch.. different audience expect different things.
because why not...? The game is huge and ambitious... if its boring to you then its all about personal preference.. (im NOT saying the game is worth $60 btw just giving perspective).. If Farming Simulator comes out EVERY YEAR and is a full priced $60 game then why cant NMS when its a game that will/would have been supported for years to come..? :S
but they're two COMPLETELY different games with completely different aims! People wouldn't even associate the two games with the single studio!
Im NOT saying they dont have a bad public reputation... im saying people wont relaly care! its not like Hello Games is a forefront games studio! peopel LITERALLY by next year would have forgotten
I dont understand people.. they act like Hello games is this HUGE AAA games studio known for its stellar 10/10 big budget AAA games! Before 'No Mans Sky' THEY LITERALLY HAD ONLY SHIPPED 3 GAMES!!! Those were all in the 'Joe Danger' franchise a downloadable arcade/racing/platforming game! The ambition behind NMS is commendable regardless of how much they 'under-delivered' but what i dont understand is how people act like NMS is going to be the 'death' of Hello G...
