As someone who played pirated games throughout his childhood(used to buy cd's from market) I can understand why most people pirate games. That being said,if you have a powerful enough pc to run the game smoothly, I believe you can afford it too
The pain of a dev whosE product was a commercial failure due to piracy makes me cry....
Install base has gone up,technology has become better for efficient operations. The sales proceeds from selling rights has gone up
I mean ya,pretty obvio at this point of time thay sony cant really support its studios like it used to....anymore. They are thus resorting to developing small budget games. I hope the situation improves and we see first party studios throw some quality AAA games :)
If you are fine with a lot of games being top down and twin stick(mainly coz of small budgets) yep ps4 has more games. I for one, like to plat third person amd first person like infamous ss more.
That being said, xb1 doesnt have something you could say as a clear lead in terms of variety either. Not to mention it is not the best console in terms of raw power

Wii section is not bigger than PC section(with due respect) lol,if you believe it,gimme source,but it is CERTAINLY BIGGER THAN XB1/PS4 library,so according to your logic,wii(u) is 10+ times better than XB1/PS4 and even better than 360/ps3

And you can simply play games your friend owns by enabling steam family sharing and it keeps different records for both gamers,I play GTA5 singleplayer this way
Mods are free,DLC is usually not and Mods are much more than content,they upgrade visuals,UI,scripts,new areas and stuffs,and PC gets DLC too

When was the last time a third party dev made exclusive for consoles? Huh,PC games are cheaper and you don't need to look silly by swapping consoles coz you wanted to play an older game
Hell what do consoles even have for AAA exclusives? Its either dry season of XB1 or low budget top down shooters for PS4

Well everyone here saying tht Sony divides games among events,but the fact is,if they don't really announce any AAA exclusive at events other than e3,so if they don't just realise they won't.
E3 is the platform tht generates most hype and No one leaves an oppurtunity to impress

They are just ignoring all markets that aren't priority. Ps4 costs 700 usd in India and games are 90 usd each. It was not the case with ps3
