Thanks for all the advice on the red knight. I tried luring him to the barrells to see if he would fall and die, but he just walked around them and came to kill me. So I went on the to beat the second boss (the giant knight) and used the souls to upgrade my Claymore 3 times. Then I came back to fight him again. Needless to say, I kicked his ass. It was soooo satisfying cleaving him in two with that big ass sword.
But now I need the key and I really dont want to kill Ostravia. He'...
I might still get the game for my ps3, but that depends on how well it will stack up to the 360 version by the time its released. I watched a video of the ps3 demo and it looked okay, but I just dont understand why anyone would still be porting games to the ps3.

He's also a lot easier if you go around killing single the hoplites (the little individual blobs) one by one. So attack the ones scatter about first, then the boss will be WIDE open.

BTW did anyone beat the red-eyed knight in the first level. He's killed me like 4 times already and my hits are not doing much damage. And my playing as a knight with a long sword (the piercing one )and a kite shield.
I know the fight is optional but I would like to get the loot he drops.

Wow. Funny cuz I feel the exact opposite. The game just breathes of sexiness. Plus kick ass action to boot. You even fight on walls. Damn.
My only problem is the frame rate issues. If saga can fix that, then I will buy their game for my ps3.

EDIT: Sorry for my rant. I just watched the japanese demo gameplay on youtube and IT DOES NOT LOOK THAT BAD. I think I might be getting this afterall.
But still, I would have given the game a 10 simply because it does what most other games dont do this gen, and it does it well.
I beat the first boss this afternoon and I gotta say this game is so damn rewarding. Every accomplishment makes you feel like you are on top of the world.

I got the game yesterday and I gotta say...
its not as hard as these reviewers make it out to be. I was actually expecting much worse. Or maybe its just cuz I've only beaten the first boss.
But I gotta confess, some of the enemies are quiet intimidating.
Excellent game
Any improvement is welcome though.
PS3 exclusives are markedly superior to a lot of the multiplatform titles we have in the market these days.

Damn. Its a good game. Actually, its an excellent game. No, its perfect. Enough reason to get that slim (if you turn a blind eye to killzone, demons souls, r&c, etc)
NO wait. The hype is actually good. Cuz this game actually delivers. But U2 is not the ONLY thing on ps3. Believe it or not, right now I'm more excited about Demons Souls.
then please disregard EVERYTHING I have said about bayonetta in the past. I've been on the wall for this one, and my opinion keeps changing. But the ps3 version looks horrible compared to the other one. I really cannot justify paying full price for this crappy port. I just wish sega did not pull off this type of nonsense.
