First off, PS3 owners can play games, Folding @ home is an opition and not a forced program, get that straight for all the people who posted stupid comments such as "O well I guess my 360 will be gaming then, or o well I guess PS3 users will just sit there and watch their PS3 crunch numbers". They can do it for free through the PS3 users, and I doubt they can fit over 600,000 PS3's in their research lab.
Around launch time the police caught one of the guys who stoled a PS3, and they went to his house and as he opened the door they thought he was armed, when infact it was the PS3 controller and they shot him dead inside the house infront of his friend.
I know for sure when I had my 360 it produced a lot heat, and I kept in an open area just like PS3 and for people who do have PS3's know PS3 hardly kicks up any heat what so ever, and as I write this my PS3 is on day 4 , without being turned off and the temp is just about the same. My guess is his 360 already built the heat, the PS3 just moved it around circulating it more, kinda like a microwave and the 360 overheated in the process.

For anyone who already has a 360, please dont go out and get into the hype and get the elite, I mean if its going to cause the same problems, like many users have reported with the 360 premium and or core, you are better off just spending the money and upgrading your HDD on the 360 you already have and a system you havent had any problems with thus far. I dont know if you have hearing problems but didnt you hear the system itself scratching the disc?
Also when you placed an already scratched disc in a system, it doesnt make that sound it makes a clip clip clip sound.
After viewing the video, I think anyone with half a brain knows a CD cant cause a disc scratch all CD's are physically the same size, So I dont see why it wouldnt scratch 60 dollar xbox360 games and not just the BK cheap game. I guess next year or so is when they will acutally revise the console, like heat and putting in the 65mm, if they do do this, then its another slap to the faces of xbox players, even to the new elite owners coming this sunday.
