You should See WoW on it, I use to work at Alienware in the Production lab, where we tested out new products, we got one of these 3D monitors in, it was around June of 06, people gathered around to see it, it was kind of cool but then again it was a very early product, hopefully this one has improved.
"Do the Cell and RSX work together?" the answer is a resounding "Yes," and I think this is one of the real strengths of Playstation 3 that we'll see increasingly exploited by development teams going forward.
This is what will make the PS3's future much brighter to look foward, to see what crazy games devs can do on the PS3 using these 2 combos.
I think its kinda cool people can download a full game from the comfort of their homes and feel like they are part of something big since its having a midnight launch :), im gonna pick up the retail verison though, I need a bluetooth headset.
They need to open the beta more, I mean why put up a site saying sign ups coming soon when by the time it probably does start the official thing comes out.

They better get with the times. DSL is cheap, if they dont get DSL out in their area check with other ISP's. I dont see how people can still live with dial up, after I finally got out of that I was so happy.
I think 08 sony should start focusing more on PS3 and then PSP, and towards the end of 08 just leave PS2 basically alone and let it die slow.

Developer F: As for resolution I think if it’s modest it’s OK. Since RSX in the PS3 is a shader monster, adding more information to a pixel by executing ultra-advanced shader and then antialiasing it completely must make it look more real. I’d like to give priority to the reality charged in one pixel rather than to HD resolution.

Also I think sony should really advertise this, I can see it now, they show the nice Hi def gameplay of GT5 and then the mention of online play of up to 16 players, and then.......... FREE VIA PSN or PS3 bundle of 499.
Sony should use this as a bundle, it would be a smart move seeing as how if the game is free, it wouldn't add price to the 499 SKU, so for 499+free game looks pretty good, and GT is pretty popular.
Im pretty sure they can use the 7 SPU's for something, I remember a tech company who made a dev kit to make it so devs can stream textures on the SPU's rather then straight off of blu ray.
I was surprised by this game, very nice looking, and the combos i found out are pretty cool as well. But man that Boss was a punk at the end.
Ya that and the stuff going on in the background, things falling from the sky, lighting strikes, thundering, its like a immersive atmosphere kinda like Bioshock or games that make you feel like woah.
I always had this idea, where people like me and others that for some reason can find glitches or problems right away be it a shadow problem or a clipping of graphics, they should hire guys part time or whatever, and test the game all day and then report back to them on what they saw wrong etc, and this can really improve the game towards its final release.
Hmmm I thought the third part of Halo was suppose to be better looking that killzone a second gen game? What happend there? And gears looks washed up now compared to games like Bioshock, CoD4 and Killzone 2.
The things going on in the coding for the cell is impressive by itself, I guess they focused so much on that, that later on they will polish up the graphics better.
Trust me it wont make you vomit, when I tried the one we had at Alienware, it was like basically looking at a regular everyday monitor, the 3D effects then werent like OMG ITS POPPING OUT OF THE SCREEN type thing, so it didnt really do anything to make us want to throw up lol.
