I beat it about a few hours ago, I've of course have to run through again cause theres still tons of trophies to get :), but for right now im focused on getting trophies dealing with the online portion of the game.
In the beta it says on wednesday and thursday they would have an event, something about having as many players at 8pm est time to test the servers, probably thats why some have been having problems connecting.
I got the beta invite yesturday, online is pretty nice.

Hey playing on a 15inch tv doesnt justify resistance 2, good day sir. Also on another note when a game has a size to it the graphics wont look the best but its something nice to look at, COD4 is no where near the size of resistance 2.
My character pretty much killed the whole megaton by accident because I went in to the armory shack and this robot tried to kill me, the next thing i know i get out and the whole place is after me, so I hide in my house and my house bot helped me out a little but died in the process, now the whole place is pretty much a ghost town lol, but since i dont like it like that im going to have to load from the last hard save point i did, cause sometimes the quick save and get you in trouble :(
It depends on how you build your character, and what weapons your stronger with. Some times it takes a few shots sometimes it can take one shot.
These people wanna make jokes at sony cause a great game like this offers great amount of play time, then you got people saying well other games have this amount of gameplay time as well, orly? cause I bet the ones saying that are the ones that put down the game a long time ago, just cause you quit playing gears of war 1 that time you put it down doesnt count as game play hour time. I had to disable my PSN notification feature because it wouldnt freeze but pause, since the screen would somewhat fade and come back into view once the display of a friend was gone. I havent had any problems other than the quick save, word of advice never go into the armory shack because once it auto saves basically the whole megaton goes after your head :( so now im going to back to my hard save in order to redo somethings.

I think sony needs to wake up and smell the subway doo doo like I use to back in 1994 in New york city. My PS3 doesnt lock up but it freezes and unfreezes and Ive found the problem and its an easy fix, whenever a friend signs on the game stops until the name vanishes from the corner of your screen. Basically the fix is to turn of the "friends sign on notification".
EDIT: just notice its not really a freezing problem because the game goes into a pause mode. I just noticed the screen fades when your friends sign on, but again if you want to stop this just un-select when you...
I have the PS3 version, so far so good, if your a real gamer this article wont bother you as much, but its funny I just sit here and laugh at people making fun the PS3 version when im having a good time playing the actual game in person.
picked up the special edition this morning so far so good, and this Gamestop employee was reading the strategy guide they gave the store and its HUGE.
I would rather have the PS3 problem than that, that sounds pretty scary, so far I havent had any problems with my PS3 version.
