I believe the gaming industry should evolve to this review structure :
A game review cannot depend on only one person anymore.
- establish a team of 8 professional people
- each one will review the game and give a score.
- That score is then calculated and obtain a percent.
- then that final score is reviewed by a final editor.
- Then if the score is less than x value, the team will meet with the developer and allow him to give his opi...

Do you remember all those articles about "resolution doesn't matter"? And all those fanboys saying that resolution doesn’t matter? Is no surprise because resolution and power has always been an important factor but the media and fanboys tried very hard to cover it in order to justify their console.
Very good article that exposes the ridiculous complains of many that don't even have a PS4.
But there was a very important point that was left and that is the exclusivity and the outstanding graphics.
Most of the hate if not all came from the xbox fans because the game was exclusive and the graphics are the best in any console. That turned The Order into a high target for critics since the xbox fans couldn't stand a game that clearly shows the graphic...

I am playing the game and I am enjoying it. I don't get why the hate. The game is not perfect but is not bad either.
The graphics are jaw dropping. It is very sad that the industry is in this state where they spread unnecessary hate to good games just because they are jealous or because they only like call of duty games.

Are they going to say the contrary? Also, this exec should check sales of both hardware and software before saying that as the PS4 is dominating on BOTH.

What about all the good reviews about the game? Are the haters really going to ignore all the positive reviews? Wow, so now this is how the industry behave?
Also, do we have sale figures? Is not going to be a disappointment for Sony if the game have good sales.
I am glad that in these days, reviews and or haters doesn't dictated the success of a game. Remember all the hate about Drive Club? It ended up being the number 1 exclusive game of 2014 in Europe and after many laugh, it ended up being a Forza killer after all.
Despite all, I believe The Order will sell well enough to be considered a success commercially speaking because people these doesn't trust reviews or haters.
For me, review scores are the same as movie critics. Review scores is the opinion of one person that obviously will not have the same interest and likes as me.
How many times have you enjoyed a movie that was scored as garbage by the movie critics? And how many times have you dislike a movie that critics days is very good?
The same with games, review scores is just the opinion of one person and should not be the main reason to get or not get a game and ...
There has been a lot of mixed reviews of The Order. I have seen more positive than negative but the trolls only use negative reviews to refer to the game while completely ignoring all the good reviews.

Really funny how the xbox fans, the ones that will not even play the game, are the most worry. They are worry about the length, worry about the quality, worry about the value.
And the irony is that the game is not even on their consoles lol
My take is that the game started as a PS3 game, faced priority changes, the director quit, the director came back as a consultant and a decision was made to build the game from scratch but for the PS4.
We will see The Last Guardian in its PS4 glory and the haters will rise in pain screaming and complaining.
