According to the Digital Foundry analysis, the situation is worst than it seems with horrible frame rate drops and other technical problems.
I imagine this conversation happening at Ubisoft HQ:
The game is not finish yet sir. I don't care, we are going to launch on due date, I will make sure the review embargo is after the game release so no one notices. Also, we can fix the game later with an update, by them we are going to have the money in the bank bujujuaaa (evil Ubisoft executive laughing)

I have been reading that the X1 version is horrible with many frame rate problems:

You don't have a choice on X1, you will get a lower resolution in order for a game to try to run well.
By the way, I'm hearing reports that AC Unity on X1 is horrible:

If suddenly every game of a particular console wins and a commercial ad for that specific console shows every 5 minutes then you know for sure there will be no integrity on the show.
Stay neutral or else then fanboys will destroy the show for good.
I'm impressed with the PS4 selling more copies than X1 since COD has always been asociated and market as an Xbox exclusive.
I believe PS4 sales are even bigger if they consider digital sales which the article didn't mention.
Avance Warfare is a good game but with the lag compensation problems, it is almost impossible to play the multiplayer.
I'm just playing the campaign. Will not play the multiplayer until is fixed if ever. This is the last time I fall for a COD. There is always going to be a problem.
Good game but the random generated items system totally stuck my experience denying me the things needed to level up. I got bored doing the same stuff again and again without any results. Stopped playing after that.
Lag compensation totally destroyed the multiplayer experience for me. I stopped playing until Activision fix it.
Is sad because I really liked the game but is impossible to play it this way.
The article is right in every point except that we cannot predict the future. It is obvious by all the facts and sales, PS4 has been the winner and it looks like is going to easily be the winner of the complete generation but there is always an uncertainty when talking about the future.
Look at the PS3, a year later, horrible launch, horrible price and yet it surppased the Xbox 360.

Multiplayer lag totally ruin the experience. Is a good game, yes, but the lag compensation destroys everything that is good with this game.
Agree with all of then, I could enjoy the game despite most of then but LAG is the main reason to step away from the multiplayer.
Yesterday I was playing, encounter an enemy from behind, started shooting in his back and to my surprise he didn't die, he just turn around and killed me. That was the end of the.multiplayer for me, will not return until they fix it.
What a stupid comparison.
