Can I ask... Has N4G gone down in recent months / years? It's not as busy as it used to be...
How many people does it take (at an indie or AA level) to craft a game that's in the same mould as Half Life using today's technology?
I know that there have been some really impressive games that have been made by teams of 1-4 people, but what do you think would be a good number for a small development studio to aspire to when it comes to crafting their own Half Life game?
See... I said this in another comment... I understand that people are being empathetic about her death... But people like her would have rejoiced if the CEO of Activision had died... Or if Trump had been assassinated.
I mean... You remember when that guitarist from that band said "don't miss next time"... That's what they think... They don't really care if someone dies.
Now, normally I would agree with you... But there are people on the "left" who blatantly cheered when Trump was nearly killed.
I guarantee you, just based off of her appearance - and going by what people like her have said and done, she wouldn't have cared if a "right wing" person had died from cancer. Instead, she'd have rejoiced.
Have you ever used Music Magpie? I buy from them often.
I never use CEX.
Bricks and mortar stores just don't do it for me anymore.
Actually... Amazon aren't as expensive, and some of the revenue goes back into the games industry.
CEX overcharge on second hand goods and ensure that all the money goes in the pocket of its head office (and barely any to staff).
Amazon also offer free shipping via Prime. CEX upped their postage rates recently.
There is plenty of difference.
What's the reason for their popularity?
Also... A lot of people on Twitter have argued that they're being bullied into going to work. Otherwise they will face disciplinary and lose their jobs after all of this is over.
And honestly... You're trying to tell me that people would rather work for 100% pay (whilst paying for travel and food) as opposed to sitting at home and getting 80% for free?
CEX isn't the best employer....
They're incredibly successful though... Which is even more baffling.
Nintendo!
Infinitely better than what that Eurogamer "review" suggested...
A solid 8/10 game.
Nintendo has a weak 2020 console.
By the way, I don't buy from CEX. I buy from Base etc. Where the games are considerably cheaper, are brand new, and the money goes towards supporting the developer.
CEX are often considerably more expensive for newly released titles. You only need to look online to see that...
Even older games are often cheaper.
Yeah, but we also have CEX. And CEX are NOT cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
CEX are doing pretty well... Not sure how or why...
That's what I say about Nintendo consoles... I don't need a Nintendo console, especially in this day and age when I have too many previous gen games that I could be getting on with. Also... my PS4 does plenty for me.
Can we have another article for GAME and CEX?
Maybe interview the person behind this tweet as well?

The SNES was their best console ever...
Nintendo are so retro that their best days are in the past...
Don't know what the big deal is... Pokemon is rubbish anyway.
The site was doing Nintendo a favour.
I would never buy a Switch because Nintendo is trash. There are people like me out there.
Has this site gone downhill in recent years? I don't see as much activity as I used to. Anyone know why?
