believe it or not ubisoft did almost make a fighting game out of AC but they cancelled it.
im in the same boat as you i slept on SR3 until i got it for PS+ and i couldnt believe how stupid i was for not buying it before.

but regardless,the point is even though he is regaining momentum,hes lost so much respect,due to the amount of bad games hes had,people now will no longer give sonic a chance for his new games even though theyre amazing,all they think of when they see sonic is sonic 06,or unleashed night time levels,or sonic 3d blast,etc...,believe it or not some people dont like colors or generations,and i dont know why.
not really,i started with the adventure series,and i played the origonals after,but sonic has had a lot of bad games,sonic and the secret rings.black knight,sonic unleashed night time levels,sonic shuffle,sonic r,sonic and the fighters,sonic 2006,he has had some terrible games,but regardless like i said i still love the character,but imo,hes not a character that has stood the test of time imo.
i personally disagree with sonic,although im a huge fan no one can deny the crap ton of well crap games hes had only recently has he begun to get better,but it is all opinion though to me the prince has stood the test of time,literally.
after seeing what happened to banjo and conker,im glad they dont own donkey kong the series would be dead,lets all pray that killer instinct isnt terrible,cause im really excited for that game.
i agree,and im a hard core playstation fan but i got bored with this game day 1,the roster was lackluster,compared to smash bros,and the gameplay was boring compared to smash bros,and even though smash puts in some weird characters like wii fit trainer at least a majority of them were actually wanted,its like what you said,who the heck wanted new dante,fat princess,raiden all though hes cool snake should have taken his place,and big daddy who was so out of place it was ridiculous,but hopefull...
besides kingdom hearts and fighting games, i cant think of many crossovers that dont suck,and they shouldnt but the reason they do suck is because they become shameless cash-ins instead of a true game,like heroes on the move people wanted a game like that for years but it was a ps move only minigame,same thing with mario and sonic olympics crap everybody wants a real platformer crossover not a sports minigame,or even if it is a platformer like the crash purple and spyro orange games it drops...

Personally for me its very important,you can make your own character in your image,not every game should have it obviously but some openworld games and rpgs highly benefit from it imo.
well easy solution dont buy it,im 17 and the way i get consoles is buy saving up money by doing jobs for people.
sometimes i wonder how the industry would be today had they stayed together,would we still have sega,would microsoft have entered the industry,so many what if possibilities.
