playing it right now and that's exactly how I would put it except with maybe some god of war fighting POP platforming and tomb raider puzzles. Those are some of my favorite genres rolled into one. Never played another castlevanias so I'm not upset that it isn't like previous incarnations. I'm having a blast with it and would easily give it 9/10

And BTW has anyone gone back to see the heavenly sword making offs? because in second video they have the look of the main character when it was originally going to be a guy, and it looks very similar to Dante (probably more emo though). I'm just wondering if this is really just their style.

LOL you need to read a help guide. you can stick in servers that are in your area. You should have a community website that lists some good servers then stick in the IP address. People rave about dedicated servers because it lets you choose who you want to play, where you want to play, for the best online experience possible. Once you get it working you'll see why. Later on you can get mods and choose servers that have those mods. It is really giving choice to the player.
well development started in 1995 they scrapped it later on even though it looked good back in the day. They started again in 2001 and then it was released in 2006. What we learn from this is 3D Realms takes a long time to make a game. I hope prey 2 isn't going to go down a similar road.

Thats actually a good point. The slow down might be because the need to put funds in the next gen console. We already know bungie is already working on a multiplat game for future consoles, so who's to say no other developer is as well.
