I'm sure there will be a huge patch of around a couple gigs, but this BETAfield, as Dice has said is old (who knows maybe this is the alpha in beta form). In all this beta/alpha could be a couple months old.
I enjoyed watching that, although maybe thats because I havn't played that map. And I like to see the graphical effects DICE put into it.
Caspian is amazing, I hope we can play metro in conquest mode, if I remember right then all maps have a conquest mode..

They might believe that battlefield fans will get the game no matter what, this map might be a way to pull a certain competitors players in, as this map seems the most similar to their game.

Ye I believe when people see the finished product, they won't believe it's the same game. Plus Caspian border dominates metro, it really is amazing being in the caspian map with 4 planes and a couple helis,some tanks and anti aircraft missiles, all fighting it out in the same screen while you run up a hill hoping no other grunts shoot you. Can't wait to see other maps.
You have to wonder when you see someone use a shotgun to try take down a helicopter.
I have seen a hang of a lot of caspian border beta gameplay, and that is the laggiest I've seen.
Looking much better than I thought it would.
I would have loved to have seen that as a soldier, suddenly this tank flying like something out of a 30 seconds to mars video.

Secondly and more importantly I hope they allow everyone to eventually play this map, as it does look the better of the two.
Will probably be unlocked later, look at uncharted 3 beta and the Yemen map that was opened up.
You should check out some caspian border gameplay, there seems to be a lot of destruction on that map. I think it will all depend on the map.
I know the PC definately has more features because many options are locked to a certain graphic level. The console versions also might have extra optimizations as the beta is apparently a couple weeks behind where they are at the moment on retail version.

Ye I'll play BF3 on my PC, and uncharted 3 on PS3 not so hard for us. Remember if we can afford a high end graphics card we can afford a console.
Ye I really hope they allow us to play caspian border, saw that 7 minute video and thought how great it looked.
Also he has already said that they are looking into a super texture pack for PC post launch. So this could mean that it launches the same,plus there is already mod support available so I if it's anything like crysis 2 then the modders will do a better job anyway.
It says that these are changes to the final game, not to the beta.
