This game really is looking shaping up. The reviews are good across the board....which is awesome. The demo was good but we all know it was short and old.

Sales are important and so far, there are not even enough pre-orders for a midnight launch. That will greatly hinder the 'exclusives' this article is talking.
Have the best graphics on a console to date...but from the impressions of the demo, it looks great but not better than the 360 and its lineup.
So far, the 360 is still the cutting edge of gaming and HD graphics.
Maybe KZ2 will change that and there will be a better looking game on another system.
This article is pure crap. Most of these comments are as well. I find it very amusing that most of you are agreeing with this but have never played the game. Most of you haven't played the demo.
On a Special note, everyone go Reserve Killzone 2! There still are not enough to even have a midnight launch. Sad!
You seem to be forgetting optical audio....The highest quality of audio. Christ man. In most cases, you would even have hdmi hooked up through your surround sound system. HDMI to tv, optical to sound system....

I understand how you can say that. 200,000 units is a lot and I completely believe it. What you are forgetting is that a toaster, DVD players and etc companies are actually making a profit for each item sold. Sony is in a bad position. Profits from all divisions are pretty poor. Sales are less and less as each month goes on.

Everyone needs to step back from the fanboyism and look at what these journalist are saying. They are not being 'fanboys' and bashing the PS3, they are taking a step back, looking at the numbers and giving a look at the standing of the Playstation Brand.
I am a Playstation owner, PS3, PSP, PS2, etc but I know that Sony isn't ruling the world right now. The system is expensive and the AAA titles have been far and in between.

The Demo is awesome. I am not blown away but I am not disappointed. The attention to detail is amazing and the graphics/sound....bada$$!
While not the revolution is graphics as I was expecting, still amazing and equal to that of Gears and others.
I can not wait for the full game. AHHHH

Why is having innovation a bad thing? With the current gen systems, yes, both the 360 and the PS3, we can have amazing graphics. Stories and atmospheres that suck us in.
Why can't the controls be updated to match what these systems can do?
Not being able to walk and attack is completely idiotic. For me, it completely destroys that wanted reality that I am after.

At least for me. I hate that you can not walk and fire your weapon. You can't walk and use your knife. You can't hit a button and switch guns.
After playing Dead Space you really expect for the controls to be as good.
Of course, if you have played a Resident Evil game you will feel at home here. You know exactly what to expect. The style hasn't changed and for me, that is a bad thing.

My friend, I have yet to have any problems on Live. That is the truth. I play most of my games on Live because the service is worth paying for.
Not saying there are not problems (or that you haven't experienced problems) but I have yet to experience any that would make me say that Live should be free.

Interesting. haha Not sure what to think. If it is real, I can only hope that it plays ps2 games better than the old PS3 does.
Those games look like s**t on the PS3. I know, I know, not a new story but it rubs me the wrong way. When you want to play a PS2 title you have to power up the PS2 because the PS3 makes the games looks like number 2.
I hope Sony releases a emulator. Something, anything has to be better than that crap they built into some systems!
I rather play a RTS on the pc. It will be interesting to see Halo wars though.

I doubt there is anyone that doesn't want Sony to make it. We have been waiting for it to arrive and this year, it will finally have the games and the features to make it a must own.
While most gamers who own a HDTV and both systems prefer to play on the 360 this may be changing. I am certainly keeping an open mind and waiting for the PS3 to rock my world. May it start with Killzone 2!
