Especially since 6 of those 7 games are either multiplatform or were never announced to begin with (gears 3, crackdown 2 or even forza 3), or won't release in 2009.

mrv has a point. Every title in this already small 'exclusives list' is either a multiplat PC/360 or even worse was never announced in any way (gears 3, crackdown 2...).

Let's wait for E3, the last chance for a decent 360 lineup this year.

It's an OS and everybody uses cracked versions of Windows anyway, so MS doesn't win a single dollar when I install my PC.
Games for Windows are just normal games. MS doesn't make a single dollar on them either.

People who say that take every 360 games including XBLA 10$ games, which are often reviewed 80+, but anybody can see Infamous or MGS4 or LBP is infinitely superior to $hits like rez hd or geometry wars.
So, keep your XBLA games and metacritic averages (which is biased by the tons of american 12 year old websites accepted by meta, by the way), and we'll keep our REAL AAA full games.
If you take full games, PS3 wins easily.

Folklore will never be in greatest hits collection, it didn't sell well at all.
Still, buy it anyway, it's a great action / RPG with beautiful and colorful graphics.

Japan : 80 % PS3/ 20 % 360
UK : 45 % PS3 / 55 % 360
RE5 worldwide sales should be easily better on the PS3, maybe 60 % PS3.

I agree they're not doing that bad, but as I explained, gaming was NEVER their core business, while it IS part of Sony core business, and MS is in trouble in nearly every front :
- browsers : losing huge market share every month (firefox / safari / chrome)
- yahoo bid : failed, so MS is still killed by google on internet ads
