Jesus Christ! Because it is a BAD GAME! This game belongs on the release line up from 5 years ago! Not now! Even then it would’ve been bad, I still think infamous second son beats this game and that was an aaaaaverage game, most launch titles (within a few months) are.
Compare it to today’s releases, even in the last couple of years...if this is honestly the quality you request then I feel so bad for you... you can have fun with any game in the right circumstances but this is a revie...

To be honest I can see this game doing worse than many think, it looks okay... but nothing special.
Not saying it will be a bad game by any stretch, just can’t see it being up to the usual quality of Sony’s exclusives lately.
Not once has a console dev ever had a generation where they haven’t massively fucked up in one way or another....it’s the ones that adapt and listen and improve that are the ones I praise. Then they fuck up again and I go back to bitching about them 😂
To be fair it’s those that come out acting as if their chosen platform is the best (and only one that matters and ignore all their shortcomings) that are the worst.

How many different studios do you honestly think are working on resi games?? They will have one working on new resi, one on resi 3 remake. Very much doubt there is another separately doing resi 2 dlc.
To be honest it’s difficult to say specifics so it’s pointless speculating. I may be wrong. I’m simply asking the devs to not waste ANY time in getting resi 3 out. So if dlc will delay, then simply don’t do it please, I’ve already tried the dlc the released and yes it’s free (wooptydoo)...
I honestly feel like polygon are half trying to spin this.... they said a lot in there, tried to make a lot of points, some of made sense, some of it is up for interpretation. But the main thing wasn’t said. This game is abysmal and nothing like it should ever be made again.
And they said the competitors are trying to make the biggest games? Crackdown 3 may be completable in a weekend, maybe slightly over. So is god of war. Gotg for me and tons of others.
