Unfortunately it looks nothing like Alice Springs, just a random bunch of buildings and old (?) cars that are not from Aus.
Its cool that it got a mention but if they are going to call it Alice Springs then they should really make it look a bit like the town.

Intro movie was a bit creepy but the gameplay looks sick! Just like I remember it from ages ago. I used to spend hours playing this game with my mates...
But Mortal Kombat wasn't too bad I thought. Silent Hill was cool too.
If they make a Bioshock or Mass Effect movie I would still see it even if the reviewers gave it zero stars. Mass Effect is crying our for a movie, there is so much scope to expand on. It could be like the Star Wars - Clone Wars types, they are great too...
I think they are talking about different markets here, the casual market is huge, no denying, but someone who buys a Vita is more of a gamer than someone who buys a phone. Its two different markets.
Everyone (nearly everyone) has a phone, and those who do will probably buy some casual games. I know I did. But I also love 'hardcore' gaming and have to have specialised devices for that side of gaming.
Having said that, hopefully Vita might get ...

I have left so many games out of that list, and it goes way back to PS1, not even mentioning my Sega Maste...
Whilst I do buy some mobile games, the vast part of my budget is spent on AAA and 'proper' games for consoles and PC. That aint gonna change for me.
Angry birds will keep me occupied for 10 mins, Uncharted will keep me occupied for hours. And don't get me started on how much of my life I have wasted on Civ or Total War...

I remember drooling over the Jaguar, that machine looked so awesome at the time. That and the NeoGeo were the two consoles i really wanted. of ocurse you had to take out a mortgage to buy one.
Had to make do with the Sega Master System which in itself was awesome. Free Alex Kidd in Miracle World pre-loaded.
