That's how a lot of people initially reacted. First they were very skeptical but after trying it out they were hooked. Bring the games Nintendo and this thing might be successful.
@masterfox I have heard similar words about the Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS besides the 4K part and all 3 devices have sold exceptionally well. :)

Have you bothered to check the Switch's line up for its first year? If you actually did you would have seen how amazing it is for a first year game line up. Not even PS4 had such an amazing line up in its first year.

Let's remove Xbox and Nintendo, this will end well for gamers. Can't wait to pay 700 bucks for a Sony console and 100 for a game because monopoly is surely a nice thing :)
I am not worried at all, Nintendo will do fine. Japan alone will bring them already good sales numbers as long as they keep feeding them with games like Monster Hunter, Pokemon or Splatoon. The question is if they can capture the Western audience and here they need strong 3rd party titles which I am quite skeptical about it yet and I want to wait out E3 for a conclusion.
lol what? The advertising is not bad at all what are you talking about. The ad you are talking about is the extended cut which won't be shown during the super bowl. You should check out the 30 sec clip which will be shown and is only focussing on the Switch and Zelda.
