what was shown at the ps4 reveal event was running at 4k res downsampled to 1080p, the screenshots posted after were at 4k.

A bit deceiving, just like at this year's E3 most of the game play reveal's shown was in-engine using game assets, the new bull shots if you will.

I bailed on MS three years ago, moved to PC. The people running the MS games division are middle aged businessman and women that haven't played a game in their life's and only looking to make as much money as they can.

Hers a link to an interview of one of MS former PR saying the very same thing's and how MS has changed in 2012 and now this is the result we have now. Interview starts at 00:25

Same what they did for the kill zone presentation/vid, running at like 4k res? I know they released a few photos at 4k soon after, I knew it looked to good to be true

I cant wait to see how this ends when released at retail.

One thing I have noticed is that there's like 160m ish consoles PS3/360's. yet we are getting game's that sell about 5m copy's, and only just break even. That's maybe 4% of the market if am right. Anyway, this is not a fight against piracy but Pre owned sales, just think of another 3% more retail copy's sold because of this DRM, that's a massive boost in profit for Publisher's.

DLC of some kind, weapons, maps, hinting at Crysis 1.

So the shops have to pay a fee to MS, what if they don't sell that many used games? and start to loses money or not able to justify the fee. Wouldn't they turn around and say no sorry we cant take that trade in?

There might not be a bargain bin tho, this also gives them the power to keep game prices at the full RRP for how ever long they see fit, because its not like you have any other choice in the matter with this DRM.

where have they said that? that's right they haven't.

"without the tv" ? from what I can see, its only a overlay menu and fancy kinect software, you still need a cable box.

Wont this also mean that publishers can their keep game prices high?

I switched to PC two years ago and haven't looked back since.

I think the amount of single 90% off orders would be small, and be worth the loss in return for some good PR

Some publishers are stating to call there "game's" a service, to bypass certain laws or so I've read.
