On topic. I always mix it up. Played through Fallout as a male character, played through Skyrim as a female character. Played through Demon's Souls as a male character, played through Dark Souls as a female character. So this doesn't bother me.

I disagree, If you played every MGS before 4 then you know it was epic. Fighting Ocelot through all the 'stages' of past games. Seeing his fighting style & poses change, the different HUD tunes playing while fighting his different 'stages'. It was like a culmination of my entire childhood into one fight scene. A giant nostalgia ridden joy ride.
And he was challenging (He was in The Boss extreme) per se, but i did enjoy finally being able to beat the snot ...

On topic, I knew they'd do great. We gamers are a passionate bunch and we just spent like what, 8 years stuck in one gen (albeit a pretty great-gen). It was only obvious that we'd flock for the next best thing. I know i did xD

In preparation for the release of DS2 I've looked at 0 ads. 0 screen shots. And 0 teasers or trailers. I know next to nothing about DS2. I want to go in absolutely fresh. I want to die 3 minutes in.
