Yeah this is EXACTLY the reason why so many long time gamers including my self are turning to the classic systems for their gaming fix. When I pop a game into my Saturn, I know damn well it's all gonna be there on the disk! I know there aint gonna be some 2.5gb day one patch, I know that I wont have to be on line to play my single player game!!

I spent Dec 11th thru Jan 10th playing the entire GOW series chronologically(not order of release) and Ascension while it did feel different, it was a fine GOW game. Ghost of sparta had the best story, 3 had the best GFX and boss fights, and 2 was the hardest.
And this is one of the many reasons I am fed up with modern gaming. "Pre-load"? WTF?!?!? 2.69gb patch before it even launches??? WTF?!?!? Oh and lets not forget aboot the inevitable day one DLC that plagues lot of modern games(don't know if this one does or not) And then there's the always popular On line required for even single player games.....
