Don't know about that, but I know I'll be buying Fable 2 (not renting it, like some idiots).
Actually, it doesn't.
If anything, the PS3 held the 360 version back, because instead of using uber hi-rez normal maps on 360's more video ram, and then dumb it down to run on PS3 like always happens, they just made the game dumbed down from the start to run on PS3 then let 360 run that easily.
