F.E.A.R. is one of my favorite game series of all time. Unfortunately, the constant changing of hands and the weak third title presented issues. Also, I feel like the story itself was resolved (albeit poorly) in the third title. For me, the story and atmospheric horror were always two of F.E.A.R.'s greatest strengths, and I'd love to see the game re-emerge in the future. Maybe a prequel where you learn more about Alma as a child? Who knows...
Same! I know Kojima is really on board with the Decima Engine so I'm excited to see how it's utilized in Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I'm always worried Nintendo will pull another classic Nintendo and say "hey so, it'll be another week before the eShop is ready but hey, look at our Joy-Cons!" lmao.
True that! I'm stoked Shovel Knight will be available the day of launch, that game is seriously addicting. :)
Journey/Abzu are definitely the top ones for me in terms of length. I've played through both multiple times and never seem to get tired of them. They're incredibly beautiful games.
I think this is probably for the best, as most people aren't fans of Uplay. For me, I just feel more comfortable playing For Honor with PC controls (probably my 500 hours of Chivalry Medieval Warfare on Steam, lol).
Night in the Woods really surprised me by how much I relate to the main character. Great review! :)
That's awful... RIP PoShYbRiD. :(
I'm really intrigued about the possibility of playing a game based on Apocalypse Now. I hope they meet their crowdfunding goals :)
I think the main fear is overcrowding. Industry professionals use conventions like GDC and E3 to get hands-on experience for coverage. The lines are already lengthy at E3, by allowing the public access, you start to run the risk of less exposure. Writing for a blog or uploading videos for a tiny YouTube channel aren't going to reach the same numbers as a major publication.
The real question is will senpai panty notice me?
Nice, I've been looking for something like this!
Correct, the temporary status is also disconcerting. What happens when it lifts? No one is arguing against safety, merely that it needs to be done correctly. This isn't Papers, Please, you can't restart.
I think the argument here is if we're instituting a ban, we need to include countries who've outwardly done us harm like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Furthermore it blocks green card holders and those with legitimate visas. The ban was not given enough thought or care to help either side, it only deepened the divide.
From previous reports, they seem intent on continuing support for the 3DS. Kind of like a "if it's not broke don't fix it" thing. Then again it's Nintendo, so you never know...
Same here! I hope they become just as popular as Minecraft or FNAF toys. Plus, I'm personally hoping for some larger RC-controlled Rocket League gear in the future. Fingers crossed! :)
I second this ^
"Contemplating which level 2 Alliance character from Elwynn Forest that they will eat next." <-- this genuinely made me laugh. I still remember my first death in WoW was via Murloc. Apparently I wasn't the only shameful noob to walk into a Murloc nest lmao.
Wait, since when is feminism applicable to video game genres? As others have stated, if a game is good and the story is well-developed, the gender of the protagonist really doesn't matter.
Definitely good points in that link! I like both the Samsung EVO and Lexar cards. I own and use both for expanding storage, as well as in my DSLR for 4K vids/RAW photos.
