I think at face value I could see how you may think that. I mean I LOVE me some halo and gears. But, that controller is 150 bucks, it's terribly overpriced. I truly believe that this E3 was one of the best in years. Though Bethesda didn't show a ton of games, the ones that were shown were amazing. Microsofts press conference they had was also great! The last few E3's have been rough for them and I'm really happy to see people actually say that Microsoft "won" this E3 ( even as a PS4 player ). I agree! The game is so great, that it is hard to put down. I personally don't own a wiiU, I used my brothers to review the game. After this review I ordered a wiiU for myself. That is how great this game is.
It is so refreshing to have a 3rd person shooter that isn't about chainsawing people in half and blood and guts exploding all over the place. It's beautiful, colorful, and Judd the cat. Do I need to say more?

So there's the Jak and dexter collection, ratchet and clank collection, the last of us remaster, Nathan drake collection, god of war collection, psp port of ghost of Sparta/ chains of Olympus God of war saga on PS3, god of war collection, ico/shadow of the colossus collection, kill zone trilogy, and The Sly collection. That's just to name a few. As much as I love me some Playstation they do love them HD collections
Awesome read man! I defiantly understand where you're coming from. I myself don't have a problem with DLC if done right. I don't even have a problem with pre order bonuses. DLC to me adds longevity to a game. Nintendo with Mario Kart 8 and smash, offer great content at a reasonable price. Even Rockstar with Undead nightmare!

I totally agree with you! Evolve was a great game. But, because of the horrendous day 1 DLC, it ruined the game's reputation. Batman might just be the next victim of over the top DLC with the price of $40! They announce this a month before the games even out. The best we as consumers can do is not buy into DLC. Viva la revolution!
I agree with your statement that over hype is what's killing games. Games like titanfall and destiny would have been a bit better if their respective publishers didn't try to make their games sound like they were so revolutionary. They got their messaging messed up, which is another major problem. that's why 2014 was such a "blah" year. The 3 announcements i am excited from the big 3 goes as follows. I want to see the Bloodborne Expansion at the Sony Conference. I want to see Gears at Microsoft's Conference. Most importantly though i want Nintendo release the next Star Fox game! If all those things happens i'll be one happy gamer!
Gamers always win E3. Yet there is always a conference that steals the show. Two years ago Sony captured the spark of gamers world. The real question of who "wins" E3 is really who is able to capture everyone's attention at E3, in one way or form. I think it is go to be Bethesda. But who knows!? I think the only problem with trading in used games is the value for the games you trade in. Don't get me wrong people who complain about getting 3 bucks for FIFA 11 are just being silly. But if i were to trade in The Witcher The Wild Hunt I'd only get back 27 bucks in store credit. Yet, Gamestop is going to sell it back for 55 bucks. To me thats just a tad greedy. You hit the nail on the head my friend! I mentioned that in the podcast, that if it wasn't for used games I would have never gotten into some of my favorite games like Dead Space and Mass Effect. Best example was battlefield 3. I bought it used on the 360 loved it so much that I bought it again when I switched over to a PS3, and then when I built my first rig it was one of the first games I bought and downloaded... I really liked it... I have a problem.
The man led such an amazing life! Though i may have not agreed with him on somethings as of late. The games he had a hand in, were some of my favorite games as a child. The fact that he actually made sure that his company's games were worth there 60$ price point and their DLC that isn't a blatant ripoff is something to admire about this man. He will be missed!
