This is actually a pretty interesting article if you take the time to read it. I know some of us gag a little when someone brings up Apple, but I think there are some interesting points. It's just a slightly misleading title. It's probably more appropriate to say, 'How the iPad will replace notebooks.'
I definitely didn't think they were horrible. Some of the maps (especially the ones in South America) were even pretty impressive in my opinion. The game play eliminates any problems I initially had with the graphics. Especially once I got to domination, I didn't really need super graphics (things are moving too fast for you to see them anyways - why bother?). I don't know that this will be a day one purchase for me (I got pretty frustrated when I ended up on bad teams and even more frustrate...
I picked up a new iMac the other day. The Magic Mouse comes with it. Great mouse for normal use. Useless for gaming. I look forward to someone taking this a little further.
I'm sorry, but this strikes me as another sore loser in this content war . He makes weak points in a time when everyone really should be excited about the prospect of going forward. Instead, he's nitpicking like some console fanboy would about their beloved company of choice. Never was much into Computer World, don't see myself being there now.

Having gotten back into some PC gaming recently I believe it. I posted on some forums about playing on a Mac and got spit on pretty badly. There's something special about any person that sits on forums slamming Apple. It's too bad N4G is no exception.
