The picture in the article shows a couple memes for starters.
No Man's Sky has so much emptiness that I would even consider it a non-game. The game was not what it was advertised to be, especially with the multiplayer announcements pre-launch. Everyone is titled to their own opinion, but this article touches on a lot of the problems the game currently has. It was not, at all, anything what we were told it would be.
From what I understand (This is without checking TotalBiscuit's rig), any non-SLI'd Nvidia 10 series should be running smoothly. However, other machines, especially the 900 series Nvidia GPU's are having tons of issues.
I could be wrong though.
They did announce during EVO that they will continue delivering content as long as people play it.

I think the fact that it has already captivated so many people is what makes it a success. It's not even out in Canada but everyone I know found a way to get it downloaded.

As for the actual discussion, there are modern games that do feature excessive cinematic sequences which can take away from the overall experience. Uncharted 4 and Quantum Break to name a couple of recent examples. Of course, I personally don't mind them as much as others do.

I agree with KingThrash to a point. We don't know what the Project Scorpio is and we don't know what specs it will have. By presenting the console as a 6TF console, you are right, it is more of a dick-measuring contest for the console wars.
The case here is that we know nearly nothing about the Project Scorpio, but we know a lot about the Playstation 4 Pro. With the way the industry is going nowadays, we won't find out about the Project Scorpio until more than l...
