Infinity Ward are media darlings and treyarch not so much. This game is probably fundamentally better than Modern Warfare but wont score as high because people have favorites.

Gears definitely looked the best. Considering that I think Gears is rubbish when stacking it next to my favorites on PS3, I don't think I will miss Gears when it comes out. I think Sony takes home E3 this year and the press conf is going to blow everything out of the water. They are on a roll. So my reply, the show aint over. And if you were saying best in MS show? Yes best in MS show but that isnt sayign much
I agree there is some overkill but it will not kill FPS. The weaker developers will wither and die and the strong will survive to put out games like Killzone, Halo, COD, and BF. We'll see if MOH lives up to the hype.

This game has some major competition after seeing Ghost Recon and Bulletstorm not to mention what we will see from Sony. I kind of thought less of it after watching Crysis and those other two.
