Gamestop is adapting their business as best they can you can nitpick the little things but most of those news articles are one sided bull. (There is always two sides to a coin and we all know new over glorifies) We have to sell new in order to get trades in order to sell used the "circle of life"'s first point is sell new. From my experience even before I became an EB Manager is that walmart employees that care about anything are few and far between in that section. that's at least my experience like all things there are exceptions to every rule but I choose and always have not to give a penny to walmart as I don't believe in them and how they treat there employees.

Its a year old $40 game as stated above. They have moved on to spider man. I would much prefer they do a reasonably quick patch as a thank you to the fans and spend their time working on the next game. They owe us nothing for Ratchet and Clank yet they still chose to do this. I tip my hat to them

you guys keep buying digital I will take what ever I have to listen to at GameStop/EB Games in order to have the ability to get all my money back towards another game if I don't like it within 7 days and the ability to trade my physical copy in. (way more money then the tax cost me here in Ontario) I finished Gears then moved on to battlefield and got $45 for gears if I had of had time to finish it on time I would have had the full price and got 2 games for the price of one. FAR better...
They both add value in different ways if they didn't have these subscriptions there would be other things. And as usually you self entitled people don't look at all sides of the coin. You just look at the side that is the worst and complain about it. I have gotten more then enough value with free games. (yes some months suck) I don't focus on those I look at how many games I get free that I want add there value up and have so far never had less value then I pay for the service....
Next time buy it from gamester and use the game guarantee to return it and then you also have the backup to be able to trade it in. As far as I'm concerned buyer beware.
This is one of the dumbest articles. The only time PC will win is when you can play every console game on the PC which might happen but has not happened yet. Or consoles all of a sudden die.

I love UBISOFT in so many ways but they have been somewhat the demise of this. They created fun meaningless ways to collect shit and shot a confetti cannon of that stuff all over their games and people ate it up. Including me to an extent but unfortunately it laid the ground work for lazy extra crap.
Also keep in mind this is from Japan (look at prices). Pokemon has been out for 20 years. So a nine year old that played when it first came out is now 29. In Japan the fanbase is huge and a large age difference. Not to mention their fetishes are eve broader then ours allowing room for very different product opportunities then us.
