what i would like to know is among 360 S owners, how many users are only replacing their older 360.
Because, on the software side, PS3 has taken the 360's crown worldwide.

MGS4 was a beast when it launched. SC has become an average IP. In the past 10 years, Konami made only 3 MGS (2,3,4,i forget psp's)when ubisoft is treating SC as any other IP.
We are not talking about the same kind of game. MGS is a AAA franchise. SC is not.
BTW, MGS looks better, even now.
quite impressive video. I hope sony will advertise GT5 when it comes out. In France, i haven't any single gow 3 commercial. Too bad, considering this is the best action game this gen.
I won't buy any of these games. Always the same IPs, again and again.
Exept Alan Wake, but i always fear the "5 fears development games".

Definitely the best action game this gen. Anyone who has a PS3 should buy this masterpiece. And if you don't have a PS3, go get one. With UC2 and now GOW3, it has become the hardware to get
I know you people must think that there's no VG information outside the US. That's actually kinda classic ...
But for French people (like me) Gamekult is a very well known source of information. But they are very hard with reviews. this has nothing to do with getting hits. It's only their editorial guideline.
That being said, i usually disagree with their reviews.
But i think HR will divide reviewers like no other game before. Maybe because it's not really a game......
just check out the sales of soccer video games likes Fifa ou PES. The Ps3 version outsells the 360's by a nice margin. Actually Fifa is a better proof, because PES is a major hit in japan.
anyway, the soccer lovers prefers the ps3, and soccer lovers are european !

its quite difficult to understand why people, especially in the us, are so much in love with Halo.
I only played Halo 2. It was a good game but it is - in my opinion - million miles away from an IP like MGS, FF or RE. Just another good FPS ...
2 million in 24h for a 5 hours solo campaign and a great multi. When a masterpiece like Okami barely sold 1 million in his entire lifetime. Bungie is the Jerry Bruckheimer Production of the video game industry !

just think a second. would you enjoy console video gaming with only two competitors : Nintendo, the casual / child device, and the future 720, which would be nothing else than a game dedicated PC, with no competitors.
When I use Vista on my computer, i feel lucky there are still great competitors to challenge Microsoft on...

Just look at the last sales figures, PS3 can't compete with a 179€ 360.
The price cut will arrive with Kz2. A 299$ bundle would be great. But we might have a surprise in a few weeks with a prive cut in early december...

WKC will sell a lot : if you look at the JPRG score on the 360 and if you report it to the PS3 installed base, you can expect 200/300k during the first week. Which is quite solid. Not mentionni...

In the last years, except launching a new Fable every 2 or 3 years (which are ok but not spectacular), he spent his time promoting Microsoft and the 360. he must be widely paid !
Take the guys from bungie, IW, ND or insomniac : they're making amazing games. and that's there job. they're not saying bs to consumers to buy their crap. they're working.
