the reason i get frustrated with pc gaming is because people honestly believe it's as good or better than console gaming, pc's are terrible

If I had to pick the best reason to get a PS3 - it'd be this game. When I see a good vid of GT5, it's the same feeling as back when I first popped GT3 in my PS2 back in the day.....holy crap
Pc's are more hassle for what they're worth when it comes to games.
those screens don't look very good, and we won't know if this game feels like skating until we play it

Exactly, I just want to hear them come out and say, "the PS3 sucks and no one wants it." Give me one good reason to own one. Listen to them compare the ps2 to the 360, thats like comparing a trailer to a mansion. I've got news for sony, last week Wal-mart sold more rolls of toilet paper, than sony did ps2s all last month. What now sony? Where is that freakin awesome console you promised us?
my good friend that i play halo with all the time uses a mouse and keyboard on the original xbox and he does just as well as everyone else, and hes been around computers all his life. using a mouse and keyboard doesn't really make a difference, it doesnt help your accuracy, if people cant use thumbsticks and need something else thats cool, think of the differences between boxer/default/legacy and so on
so long as there will be gaming there will be gaming consoles, and I don't see gaming dying anytime soon. Sure, game consoles are PCs but they are TASK SPECIFIC PCs. How can any PC beat another who's primary purpose is to play games. Say your PC has the latest and greatest performance parts-well it still only plays games according to their max settings, which still doesn't compare to consoles, they are at best the same for ports even. I have never been able to conceive one way in which PC...

Well I saw somewhere that the DS sold half a million units in Europe within one week not to long ago, so despite the DS lite not being out for very long I can't help but think that it too has out sold the PSP.

I work at a Circuit City, they have quite a bit of the 60 gig models. It's the wii that they never have.
