Not necessarily, if the game requires more use of white OLED will use more power than LCD.
Yeah it was pretty funny, except for the part where the missed they were parodying an ad for PS4 with a PS3.
"Also people that bought more then 1 PS4 and selling the others for extra money is going to have a hard time selling them. LOL"
Doubt it, there are lots of countries that won't get the PS4 during November, people from there will be the ones willing to pay the premium. I'm sure launch day store stock won't even hold for locals too.
If one week's worth of wait can make you drop $500, you should spend that money on a psychologist instead.
Fairly obvious what the differences will be without any comparison. By now that real pictures have surfaced it just confirms the natural qualities of OLED and LCD.

If you look at that the OLED colours are simply wrong, there is the typical blue tinge on everything and black crush is evident on the walls, meaning you can't see a...
Arguments saying self-publishing will be a slippery slide of lowering of quality don't really add up.
1. Entrace fee into PSN/XBL still remain higher than stores such as Android's Play store, meaning devs will not just upload anything without some consideration.
2. There will not be any opportunity to generate ad revenue, so devs will not interested in maliciously uploading apps for the sake getting your ad view.
3. All the self-publi...
Yes as mkis007 said, the TV unit accepts Vita game cards and Vita memory cards.
Whilst it wasn't mentioned in the press conference, the fact that the bundle includes a 8gb Vita memory card is as good of a confirmation as any.
Yes, it's a Vita TV console, you just need to a DS3, and a Vita memory card to get you going.
In a sense this is Sony's entry level console, for new PS owners. If they can add PS2 digital playback for the Vita, they've essentially solved most of their backwards compatibility issues with the PS4.
Looks like Sony decided for me where my 32gb Vita card will go when I get that 64gb card....now where will my 8gb card go.
Yes to everything you said.
PS Vita on the go or at home, playing the way you want.
"Collaboration Battle stuff" is a campaign they are having across Japan, where they have this pseudo 'school' travelling around show casing the different Monster Hunter style coop games.
The dude with the horns and blue coat is their spokesperson, kinda like the Japanese 'Kevin Butler'.
Just some service where you pay 30 pounds a year where you can request a report from them about where's the best place to sell your stuff.
Lol this article is just wrong, it's 100,000yen which equals $1000 USD. On top of that they didn't mention it's Open price not a RRP.
Doesn't matter, the 'line ride' is going to the most popular at the show.
"This release is the product of a collaboration between XSEED, publisher of the first Trails game, and Carpe Fulgur. "
This just says to me XSEED would've completely abandoned the project if it weren't for Carpe Fulgur.
Still no complaints, fans were praying every day for this, me included.
The real tragedy of these games not being localised, is that the longer they sit on their hands, the more irrelevant they become due to their platforms. This leads to higher future porting costs for newer platforms and further pushes away any chances of localisation.
FFS, even Tecmo Koei are bringing titles even more niche on a niche handheld console to the West.
Yet Sega can't even handle a localisation of their own game that has a cult following.
Stupid businesses only go one way: down the drain.
Nope I have the T2.
But yes as you said it's like looking at a big TV rather than a larger FoV like in Oculus.
Personally I don't think Sony's offering is really that more expensive that the Occulus, the specs are greater as such commands a higher price. But of course entry price is an important factor, which is why the Occulus is a good entry point for the technology.
Forza 5 doesn't even have 60fps mirrors, and still employs model swapping out of screen.
