Agreed, I've to this date, not seen any level design that gets even close to FromSoftware's titles.
I don't get why kids needs to compare souls games to the top 3 tier engines from sony's in house studios.
They don't have the same priorities, which is ok. If you are into these games, they excel.
Souls have -never- been on par with the generations, but we still Play it - not because of graphic whoreness, but because of it’s superior gameplay. Same with this one.
Besides, it is looking better than ds3, just look at the character models, weather effects, and animations.
Calm down ppl, this is just clickbait.. he has only been working there for 2 years - not like a dice vet or something :p
Next-gen isn't just graphics anymore.. The DualSense is also a great addition - it feels like something is missing, when I play old ps4 games, without that support. (plus 3d audio of course)
Never going to happen: https://www.theverge.com/20...
Very mature.
Aww man, that logo reminds me of the old adventure games..
That picture is so wrong. I have both the PS4 Pro, and the Xbox one x.. Xbox one x, is a tiny bit taller.. on the picture, it looks like the ps4 pro is taller.
Actually the newest iPad Pro is already on par with Xbox one S
Yep, developers who actually have worked with it , know less than you :)
Sony opt'd for fewer CU's but FASTER CU's, to gain easier performance gains for the devs.
its using an architecture that hasn't been released to PC yet (RDNA 2), which is 50% fast than the older one.. you can't just compare TFLOPS across generations. Btw, an Intel core 2 duo 3ghz is also slower than a i7 3ghz .. so no, its just not a medium pc.
yes for Dolby Atmos, which is inferior or?
They profit indirectly, from people who buy dreams, to play these creations
This is pretty normal.. new CEO equals restructuring equals lay offs..
I think the game mechanic with deflecting, and so on is pretty unique.
Didn’t they have 3000 or so on rdr2? I think they are doing the best they can.. just like naughty dog and other AAAAAA companies :) good things takes time.
I bought Assassins creed odyssey after I completed RDR2... yes, they did change something, because now games like odyssey all of sudden seem miles below the bar, that rdr2 set.. what a waste of money - should have played it before rdr2 :(
Indeed. I bought the samsung 55" KS8000 last year - only reason was the low input lag, otherwise I would have chosen Sony.
its not a remake - its a remaster (from pc), with better textures and so on.
