I have lived through Intellevision, Atari, Nintendo, 64, PS1, 2, Dreamcast, and all the handhelds. This is the next step in game maturity and it will be one hell of an experience.
Typically happens to the serious gamer. I slept outside BestBuy on launch day and have since gone through 6, I do not kid, 6 360s. Of course I have the 2-year replacement plan so i simply take it back and exchange it. The cause for the errors is USING THE SYSTEM. Dont get me wrong, I love XBOX. But I can rack up 12 hours straight usage on the weekends and that is just for COD and Gears. If you play for an hour every other day, this unit will last you years. If you game, about 3-6 months.
Did the same thing to music. What did it ultimately achieve? More sales. When there are big ole warning stickers on something it is human nature to want to know what is so offensive? What is it that would render a warning? I actually make sure that any music I purchase has the warning so i know I am not getting the edited version.

GOTY? I don't know about you but I play games that I find fascinating. I know within 5 minutes of booting up either one of my consoles that I am going to love it or hate it. I never by a game on a recommendation. Sure, I like to get other people's views but ultimately, I rent the game if it's questionable then purchase it if I find I cannot put it down.

I really enjoyed MGS4. Resistance had good graphics but alas, the online leaves a lot to be desired. As for the legality of selling the review copy: If GG was concerned they could get an injunction and stop the sale. HOWEVER, they could also sit back and see what in fact the final bid will be. I am a proud owner of both systems so my comments are not biased to one more than the other. I am so excited for this game to come out and hearing that the multiplayer rocks makes it even better. My only concern is the PS3's online setup. I have to admit that 360 seems a lot more user friendly and stable than the PS3's online set up. ....WHO CARES! Even if they release this game for $100.00 and I had to duct tape my testicles to my controller in order to install it to my PS3 I would still not be able to stop smiling. I will be unwrapping the game in my car on my way home from the store and already have my PS3 on so when I get home all I have to do is insert into the drive, light a smoke, take a pull off my Beck's and laugh knowing I have the next 3 days off from work.
...to me, was better than F3. I don't know if it was the enviorment, battles, excellent mix of good and evil or what but I actualy threw my back out because I laid on my couch for almost 48 hours straight playing that damn game. F3 was fun and had some original stuff, but I could care less about additional content. I beat the game, then thew Dead Space back in for another run. Doing time on COD online until KZ2.
