You hear that EA/Crytek? They are showing PS3 footage.
The only PC game I even see in stores anymore is WoW and SCII when it first came out at gamestop. I get all my PC from Steam with the exception of Blizzard games of course.
Anyone know if there are additional modes in the final game or just what is present in the demo?

I've no idea how old you are but if you young I can imagine it would be difficult to get into something like this compared to games these days but back in the 80s and early 90s stuff like this was great fun. I still remember when doom came out and was like OMG the graphics lol

How so? Are you comparing graphics of a $300 console to a couple thousand dollar gaming rig? Obviously PC will win but who wants to pay that much for a console? PC will ALWAYS be ahead in the graphics department but games are more than graphics and just take a look at the Wii as a prime example or even Kinect which sold 8+ million since launch. Cause you live in New Hampshire most likely? Here in NYC at least, big games get sold out quickly as do new peripherals, systems etc. Even MAG was sold out for a while here. There has been several times I went to get a game release due but it was all sold out.

I think 2013 for PS4 announcement. The only company I see coming out with a new console anytime soon is Nintendo but not this year. I think e3 next year it will announced. Nintendo is still making massive profits from Wii so why kill it off. Meanwhile Sony/MS have brought peripherals to extend the life of their consoles. MS just came out with Kinect to extend the life of Xbox not kill it. Nintendo will clearly be the first but with Skyward sword coming this year you definitely won't be seeing a Wii 2 anytime soon is my bet.

Valve isn't super greedy like other guys. Steam is coming to PS3 in April with Portal 2 and yes that means cross platform gaming between PC/Mac/PS3 in case you wanted to know.
No idea but they have yet to show the PS3 version of the game. Only 360/PC. Not even a screenshot. If you didn't know better you'd think it wasn't even to be released on PS3.
