No, Black Ops will not outsell Modern Warfare 2, unless it is a game of the year contender and the multiplayer catches on with casual COD players. Modern Warfare sells because of the Infinity Ward brand and the Modern Warfare tag.

@Roozium- Well, Crytek and Microsoft have already said it is an action game centered around spartans, and we all know that Microsoft has been wanting a God of War type game. And you don't know for sure if it will be 360 exclusive. My bet is it will be a timed exclusive like Mass Effect 2 or GTA Episodes from Liberty City. There you go man.
New IP's are not on the rise for Microsoft, except for that Crytek game, which looks like a rip off of God of War, and will probably come to PS3.
And, I don't like to hate on HHG, but 9.5 for Kane and Lynch 2? No freaking way.

Ya I won't get Plus till there is a real incentive. If there was an exclusive beta or free game I want, I'll get it, but so far no.
It doesn't exactly make sense though. First of all, that date's a placeholder, and second, I would think that LA Noire would be out before this comes out, cause it seems farther along and was pushed back to Holiday. And Rockstar does not have 2 games come out in the same quarter, so either Max Payne or Noire has to come out first.
This is like when LBP got delayed a week cause it had that Muslim music in it.
Hope this is resolved. Does Siena know they could be getting in the way of something that has been anticipated for 5 years+?
