EA literally didn't do anything and I bet their Apex player count increased considerably since the no mats and no health/shield on kill. Fortnite reached a point of success where the only people who could ruin it or shorten its success period is Epic Games themselves. It is so sad to see tbh.
I always wonder how people get it into the video games voice acting career. It is so interesting to meet the person behind a character like Geralt and then find out there is such a big difference between the two. I don't know what I should expect tbh, *something amazing I guess* (said in the voice of that little kid riding the bike in Incredibles 1)
I hope at least the personnel available at their booth will drop some new information if interviewed. I really can't take enough of new screenshots, trailers or literally anything Death Stranding related.
I kind of have an idea for the Xbox One and PS4 titles. The PS4 title might be the Horizon Zero Dawn and the Bloodborne sequels, since I saw a couple of rumours going around recently. As for Xbox One, I know it is a very far shout, but is it possible they could ever revive Scalebound?
I have no idea what the Nintendo Switch titles can be tbh.
I played this game during its beta phase and it was really fun tbh, I don’t want it to turn into an eSport though because it kinds of ruin it for the casual ones
EA really need to drop their whole obsession with microtransactions. I know it is one of the regular income sources after a game is released but EA is clearly abusing it. I am not against people who spend real money on microtransactions, but it's the company's responsibility to keep those microtransactions from affecting gameplay and not give paying players an edge over regular users.
Well said man.
not all of them tbh, some games have decent AI that actually see your playstyle and "tries" to adapt.
Tbh I loved this game but was absolutely TERRIFIED every time I died.
I don't get why everybody is saying this phrase "The Last Guardian sold as well as its predecessors." and justifying it by "Team ICO games usually sell that much." As I said in another comment, The Last Guardian wasn't just another entry in Ico's series. Nor was it supposed to sell just like the other entries. It was supposed to SURPASS them not sell "around" the same as Shadow of the Colossus. Don't tell me you were anticipating Shadow of the Col...
I know the history of Team Ico games, but imo you can't compare their other titles to this one specifically because this one got SO MUCH more attention than any of their previous titles, especially pre-release. Don't tell me you were anticipating Shadow of the Colossus impatiently and went bananas every time you see it mentioned or teased. Even if the dev's other titles did modestly, TLG was supposed to surpass them not be on their level.
Yes the game managed to deliver a really great story but imo it's not a one-done experience at all. There are so many SP games that keeps you pulling you back to play their storyline again and again. I don't really believe that selling only over a million sales can be called "far from being dead" for a title that was anticipated for 7 years and had this much hype around it. Regardless that it's a Team Ico game and that's how much they normally sell like someone said ...
I never face this problem really. Getting a physical copy of a game will always be more valuable to me than just pressing download.
Nintendo itself needed work since 2002.
A well-written piece really. I think the main reason it got forgotten was because it was buried under too many new major release shortly after so the release date in itself was an issue as well. I actually loved the game and the emotional journey it puts you through with Trico. Wish we had more Tricos in the gaming world.
Everyone has their own taste, but imo, I think it's one of the most promising arena and hero-based shooter since Overwatch's release. I agree with their lead designer tbh, I think LawBreakers can stand on its own in the genre and stand out as a unique title.
Give it a try and then decide if you still don't like arena shooters :D
Definitely titles with a lot of potential that will most likely go under the radar.
I really enjoyed the beta phase of the game so I know they can exceed people's expectations of being just another Overwatch clone.
I kind of feel the same thing for some reason. Season 5 has been pretty dead to me so far. LawBreakers looks like the only promising title that is likely to dethrone Overwatch from its throne as the hero-based shooter. I really hope Boss Key deliver with this title.
I wholeheartedly believe FromSoftware's games wouldn't have reached this point if they weren't challenging and difficult. Accessibility for disabled people is a hardware issue, not something FromSoftware should even look into. We have people playing Apex with their feet, people playing Skyrim with potato controllers, and so many others. Accessibility isn't definitive.
