There really is no clear cut answer an article can give you if you’re in a market for a console. I just got the PS4 pro this past Christmas. I had a backlog of PS3 I wanted to finish, I got the RDR2 bundle at a great price. There’s games that I just wanted to play now.
However it really boils down to the timeline- When are you considering to buy? What games are of interest? Are you bound to a budget? Are you saving now or recently purchased a 4kTV? Or is it just a gift for ...
I’m thinking the only one that will be $499 would be premium versions. The standards are probably going to hover in that $399 for an attractive price point.
Hmmm. If it comes in 2 Blu-ray’s maybe one will be the data disc and the other will be the game. Square is going to have to work feverishly to get the other episodes released in a window where the fans don’t start to become discontent. This doesn’t need to take 10 years.

I might have the unpopular opinion on this but I feel this may have been opportunity to jump on a remake train again and enhance the whole experience.
There has been so many fans wondering why VIII could never get any love and it’s remake version would get as much hype as VII.

Not what I had in mind when I was anticipating a game to play as Strife. It’s not his solo outing and I’m willing to guess the next game will be with all 4 switch/swap feature. Still, this looks intriguing.

I understand what you mean. When I mention it to other gamers they look at me like I’m crazy. The production is through the roof but I can’t find the motivation to play it. It’s idk not fun and feels like a chore.
I still recommend this game to any action/rpg fan. The story is..simple but the journey, lore, combat/leveling was a good 90 hrs. I sunk into it.
Sony knows what they have to do with the PlayStation. The sales and satisfaction to the deliver innovation is more important to them then power. I believe they will deliver from all aspects.
I don’t think Microsoft is going to stick to this price that’s been floating/released. Even if they phase out the current model and go strictly One X/AD, this price isn’t smart.
If they do drop it, then they might have a sale from me. The One is decent - just it didn’t have the games that made me want to put money on it. I can’t lie and say the interface and the controller didn’t look & feel good.
Long.Live.Play would’ve been great for PS5.
I think the be PlayStation icons are enough in this case.
