nintendo didn't show everything they got actually (bayo 3, metroid, the new pokemon game and so on) so it's obvious that it will be at E3.
sony showed every major game they got for ps4 (and that's a lot actually) so for avoiding to be redundant they cancelled all the conferences, exept the one that will probably unveal the ps5 (PSX 2019 maybe) among other things.
1 - they announced every major game ps4 will have until his cycle ends, so they don't want to be redundant;
2 - they want to polarize all the attention on a single conference without being compared to the others at E3, the solution is PSX 2019;
3 - they want to announce the PS5 and E3 is not the right place to do it in their opinion... again, the PSX 2019 is the better choice.

both are masterful made, with crash bandicoot you have just to readjust the jumps but for the rest is perfect
