Yes man, some arabian channels showed a video of that discovery taken by helicopters and in other countries they only heard the news by radio so they weren't shown such disturbing images. The Source Engine may now look as the most outdated engine but it is not the case, because it is the most versatile engine. Well for "FREE" user created content on consoles, you need to go on PS3, it was the case a long time ago with Unreal Tournament 3 (maps, mods, skins, mutators, etc..) and it will be the same case for the upcoming valve games on PS3 beginning with Portal 2.
I totally agree with you mmPete and I thought about the same thing: omitting the legendary X,O,□,∆ buttons will clearly harm the gaming experience and make it "naked" and non epic:just a random mobile game, but don't worry, the leaked PSP2 prototype still has the worlwide loved buttons! :)

Sadly Sony puts too much time to study them and they quickly get copied before even getting released and those thieves will launch unfinished inferior products that will get a monumental commercial succes and will claim that they were the first to bring it to the market! What a shame! :(
