I hope they get their licensing issues squared away and start to put up some decent updates on the U.S. store because it's been pretty bad the last couple of months.

people _will_ remake these games and more in LBP using the level editor and the people that do it well will become gods unto us.
for me, this was one of the biggest announcements of E3 - i own all three systems so the FF13 announcement, while a shock, won't really affect me in any way. resistance on the psp however, that's another matter. i had hoped for something like this since playing resistance on the ps3. this is gonna be so damn cool.
we learned more in the leaks a few weeks ago. i wish they had spent a little more time with it but whatever. it's another free upgrade to one of my game consoles so i'm happy with it.
how will it control? d-pad and the buttons?
i'll probably buy it anyway but my real question is what happened to my freakin' calling all cars portable??? that was announced last year and never materialized.
i don't think anybody saw that coming. although maybe we should have considering the 'extra features' we learned about in the latest psp firmware...
and it appears to be in france (the eiffel tower was in the logo)
i was hoping for something like this but really didn't expect we'd see it for at least another year or two. i can't wait for portable resistance!!!!!
i like that it appears as though we'll be losing all the ads that take up a third of each blade.

and what happens to the gamer pics that were sold... and are still being sold... i don't see them anywhere on those screens. money down the drain? that actually kind of annoys me because i bought one gamer pic pack (xevious) so i could use the same pic on the ps3...
it won't be for everybody. i have an elite and the space to do it. one of my biggest complaints was always how freakin' loud the dvd drive is.
this won't be very useful for people with a 20GB HD though because they don't have a whole lot of space to begin with there.
MS has done this in the past and it's about time Sony stepped up and followed suit. It just keeps getting better and better for gamers across all consoles.
firmware updates rock, whatever the system. new functionality for free, who can say that's a bad thing. yeah, some are duds but still New Functionality For Free... FTW.
gt5 prologue worked on the original system with a different account, then the second system with the different account a few minutes later, but now won't work on the original system again. 24 hour restriction, yes and no?!? i'll have to play around with this some more to get an idea of what's really happening here.
I purchased it under my account, I just ran it under my fiancee's account on my original PS3 and it worked, then I went into the other room and ran it under her account on my other PS3 - it worked there as well.
I haven't tried Warhawk yet but it does work with GT5 Prologue. No 24 hour restriction.
i sold my hard copy to a friend for the cash to buy the discounted psn version back in april. the only issue i had with it was that when other friends come over (they have no ps3's) they want to play warhawk under their own login that we created - and i don't want them playing under my character/login anyway. this solves all of that.
now if it only worked for gt5 prologue as well cuz i'm running into the same issue with my girl.

i can understand your point about the other complaints, but not being able to remove your credit card easily is actually serious and could lead to all kinds of problems with roommates/siblings/house guests etc.
there's no legitimate reason that ms can't make it easy to remove. it's easy to remove your info from the psn, why not xbox live?
the reason they make it difficult is the same reason you spend 'points' instead of dollars. you're more likely to make frivolous...
when circuit city was having those crazy xbox accessories sales. so i never actually gave them any credit card info.
loved the first patapon (although i still need to finish it).
more crazy, different, take-a-chance games of this type are needed across all platforms.
I like the fact that the ads appear to be gone, let's hope it stays that way. I just hope it's quick to navigate to what you want. I'm not sure how well it will work with an Elite filled with a ton of content (which is what I currently have) but we'll see. Please, please, please get it right.
The one thing I really want to avoid at all costs is the Avatar system. I really don't like the way they look and I don't want to have to use them at all.
