Overall, we know that the Xbox 360 drive reads data faster than PS3's. While the Blu-ray drive might consistently read data at the same speed, the 360 drive is much faster at reading data on the outer layers of the DVD disc; and that's where devs tend to put the biggest files. Hence the ps3 game installs are not going away.
I would rather have everything on one disc without game installs maybe the ps4 and xbox 720 will spare us of that. Everyone seems to be enjoying MGS4 and that has multiple installs during the game. Why all the game installs on the ps3 easy answer the ps3 blu-ray drive is very slow in comparison to the 360. In the end I would rather change a disc in a few seconds to avoid a 3 to 5 minute install disruption between levels like in MGS4. I really doubt Forza will be on more than one disc look GT5...

You brought up a good point, I would rather switch discs than have a 3 minute install between levels like in MGS4. I own MGS4 and its a great game but it really got me thinking about a multi disc game or multiple level installs. I guess I would rather switch a disc in a few seconds over a several minute install. I am really looking forward to the next Forza.

Fact the ps3 has no hidden magical power that has not been tapped. Fanboys have been talking #!@# about the cell more than sega marketed that phony blast processing. Most of you fanboys blog more than actually play games stop loving companies and start playing games.
