Hence the power of not releasing ps plus free edition = anticipated buyers club, buying due to "Need it now" which imo was the decision behind putting ps plus edition on back burners which intertwines w in the server debacle but not getting into my thoughts on that.
I too am a GAMER" and imo i dont see why having the best of both worlds isnt on the table, imo apps like Youtube shouldve been day 1 and unless im not using my PS4 correctly i have not exp' Share play yet and hes talking about features xbone has now. I personally would love dlna, media player and such even if i dont intend on using them but its nice to have if i in fact do need those features so my argument is : Always better to be feature complete or try to be on par w competition ...
