No one is comparing the two as games, they're comparing them in context to their situations. There's not a single case in which i compare the two as video games or talk about their qualities as video games in relation to each other.
The very fact your sceptical speaks volumes about a lot of free-to-play games. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised

they need to do something, the numbers are getting even lower
i kinda like it so far, hopefully the alpha irons out a lot of the rough parts of the game
