It's hard condemning him so much given how much I've enjoyed his past work and his creative spark. But the Godus thing...well...it's just too much.
Jumping ship to work on something new, when Godus is barely a game, is pretty bad, even more so given it's a kickstarter game. Godus has honestly seemed to of 'broke' him, lashing out etc. Just odd.
It's a shame, and i hope one day he comes back with something great.
Yeah we didn't get time to correct his name in the N4G title, it literally got approved within 5 mins :/
I'd wait until new 3DS sales figures roll in before people right Nintendo off (yet again, for the 9473273th time). Majority of people i know have already upgraded, my self included.
With trade in deals, it's not too bad of a price point for what is a decent system. I can see why people would be fussed though.

I guess it's up to fans to make a buzz around the game. I'm not a journalist of any description, just someone who likes to talk about games, but I had no press releases at all about the game.
With little to no marketing, it's quite easy not to know about the game. I felt like I had to try do my part about getting the word out, it's genuinely a brilliant title.
It's actually been quite refreshing seeing the majority of people reject their insane DLC. Hopefully it draws a line, things are getting silly now.
On the topic of Evolve...with all the DLC, it feels like a Free to play game with a full retail price chucked on it. Be a awesome steam sale game though

I can see the point of the title of the article, even if some of the points he makes within the actual piece are a bit flimsy. Each to their own, some people love the cinematic path many games go down, others prefer things utterly gameplay drive. Both can, and will, exist
The Outbreak games always felt like they were beyond their time. I'm quite surprised they never tried to bring back the line, even more so given how hot online co-op is these days, and during last gen. Suppose money issues and some poor sales might of had a impact though.
The guy has grown a HUGE ego these last few years. When he claims to be 'the voice of gamers' it's cringe worthy.
