A little on the dramatic side but basically yes.
Still very much active on the PS3 I have no problem finding a match. Awesome DLC by the way.

also the gamma on the 360 is much too dark, to the point that it obscures details in the textures.

differences are minimal the 360 looks slightly crisper in some images but not by very much and the PS3 has a larger field of view. : )

For the Xbox maybe but the PS3 still has room to stretch it's legs. Still I wouldn't say no to a PS4.

my fellow PS3 users some tips on getting the best visuals from Crysis 2
I read this from on of the users on Neogaf in the Crysis thread and the way he broke it down made sense.
PS3 > Settings > Display
-Video out: 720p (the game should default to 720p...
PS3 users remember to clear the dust from the vents of your PS3 at least twice a month. You should use a compressed air canister to do this and not a vacuum cleaner as the static electricity buildup could fry your PS3's motherboard.
Also let it cool down for an hour or so before shutting it down especially if you've been gaming on it for a couple of hours. If you shut it down before then the fans won't be able to properly cool down the CPU/GPU which could eventual...

Crysis vets would disagree with you on that, I think they would say that Crysis 2 compared to Crysis 1 is extremely linear. Also Crysis 2 isn't really a true sandbox game it's more a mix between the two. Still it's pretty cool and I wished KZ3 would have taken this same approach.
Now this is something I want to see just for kicks KZ3 vs PC Cry2 . Just to see where KZ3 stands against the almighty Crysis 2.
PS3 maintains a consistent yet lower fps during intense action scenes and there for runs and plays smoother.
PS3 has better gamma and light levels
