It does have other features to many for me
to name, but simply calling it JUST
a 3D chat Is Ignorant, I Know of no 3D chat room
that can do everything that Home can.
2nd Life has been around for years now.
It was out well before the PS3 came out, but
yeah 2nd Life and Home
are 2 different things, not to mention a platform
apart.
2nd Life Isn't a game per say, It's a Chat room that
allows you to interact with user created content, Home
and 2nd Life are two different things.
HOME: For Gamers and Socialites
2nd Life: For Creators and Socialites
I Don't think you'll be forced to do all
of this thru home, I Believe there will be
an option.
Home is somewhat like 2nd Life but 2nd Life
is more for people who like to Gossip and
create things, even make real life money.
Home is more suitable for the gamers, not
Creators, LBP is almost more like 2nd Life then Home is.
Home just has the same kind of Graphics.
Beta is starting at the end of this month.
I play Second Life sometimes, but I think
Home has an advantage over Second Life, Second Life
can require high requirements(other then the hard drive space).
And I don't think you can watch a full movie with
friends in 2nd Life, at lease i never seen that.
Also 2nd Life is for hard core creators, not
hard core players.
My wife plays the PS3 as much as I do
so I'm set :)
Actually you can delay something without a release date.
It's simple, Don't give a release date and spend
more time on the product.

Yeah It's funny to think that Sony gets
paid everytime a FF13 360 version is sold.
It should not hurt the PS3 at all, merely
help the 360.

Square went to the PS1 because it was CD Format.
again, 360 HAD a lead over the PS3 in sales
and games for long time, what I can't figure
out is WHY Now does square bring FF13 to the 360?
This is WHY i think it Might be somebody buying
somebody., Only money can change this so quickly.
Porting a game like FF13 to Wii would
be very hard to do, if anything Square
would strip it, and rename it something else.
I Find it funny how FF13 was made for the PS3 first
and formost(did Square not know that the 360 had
a HUGE Install base and better sales?), now we
hear It's coming to the 360 to.
So Something happened, either Square already planned on a 360
release from the beginning(just kept a secret), MS paid heck of money to square(unlikely because It would take a butt load of money to buy Squares Loyalty to sony, but not Impossibile just unlikely.)Or

Actually, The 360 Benifits from this to not just Square, anybody
who says otherwise is foolish, so even if it was square who
came to MS, You better believe that MS was more then willing
to say OK!, It's the FF Franchise afterall.
But this does not in anyway hurt the PS3, it only helps the 360.
I Only have a PS3 so I'll be getting it for the PS3, I Just
really hope that Square does not shorten the game to make
both Copies equal.
