I Think Sony should have done more advertisement
along time ago but I think they were waiting until
they brought the price down, Good move by sony either way.
I Saw a PS3 Commercial yesterday, It advertised the PSN
and other features, Including Blu-Ray, I Was surprised because
usually I don't see many PS3 Commercials, Let alone ones that
promote It's Features.

It doesn't have to, The PS2 still sells and according to Gamefly
you have 30 New PS2 Games released, and 14 Coming soon Games
and this is after 9 years on the market and with the 360, Wii and
the PS3 on the market.
So I Suspect the PS3 to last 15 years.
I'm assuming that Sony owns some rights to Blu-Ray Tech(Maybe
someone else can correct me if I'm wrong) and if that's True

I Think a better example is to look at it as College.
You spend Hella money for 4 years and you Study hard, put
lots of time into it then BAM you get a killer Job.

I've read somewhere that the PS3 is the third fastest
selling counsole in history, right after the Wii and PS2.
The PS3 Will sell over 100 Million units in It's life time

Yeah, Both MS and Sony Gambled, MS Pushed the 360
to the market first while Sony took a loss with every PS3
Sold, and nintendo simply played it safe.
I Think the PS4 may have something Different then Blu-Ray
and the Cell.
There are some PS3 Exclusive games that are already pushing
30 to 50 GB and the PS3 still has 7+ years Left, also you
have games like Uncharted 2 and while I think Games can still
be improved upon I Think they'll be getting capped in 2 years
or so, so I expect Sony with the PS4 to use something Different
then Blu-Ray and the Cell.
If they use Blu-Ray ...
People keep saying "Oh I Bet Sony learned from this!, they won't
do this kind of adventure again with the PS4 Like they did with
the PS3!".
Sony Knows that the PS3 Will be on the market for 10+ years and
they know Tech will be much cheaper by then and over that 10+
years they'll begin to turn a profit right around the same time
they pull ahead of the Wii in units sold and Eventually win this
generation just like they did last ...
Funny, How you say the PS3 Often times get a Version of
a game much later and how PS3 Fans are paying for an old
game, yet your so willing to pay for(or agree with) buying
GTA4 DLC a long time later that doesn't even add much.
Now, if the person only has a PS3 then they have no choice
but to wait for there version of the game that may even
look better and have more content.
