Clearly, the author has no clue about business or marketing. If you put out the same game for a handheld and console, then you don't get twice the profits. Think of all the shovelware for the Wii. People still buy it, which means anything Nintendo can do to make money, they will do it. That includes not limiting themselves to one marketing base.

I disagree with having achievements. Achievements are added in after the game is made in order to lengthen the game. MS puts achievements in a game so that their shitty 6-hour FPS will have justified replay value. Games like SMG 1 and 2, Zelda TP, Metroid Prime 3 are long enough and entertaining enough where you get value out of how long they are and you want to keep playing until you've done everything.
Also, I would rather that Nintendo not just decide all of a sudden ...
A sequel to Super Mario RPG: LoSS is so overdue it's not funny. That game is in my top five best games ever.

I think that Samus, Mega Man, and Master Chief should be on the list. Get rid of Arbiter, Ethan Mars and one of the FF characters. If it's a GOAT list, then two from the same franchise is slightly contradictory. The rest I like and think Kratos should be higher, simply due to his popularity.
